TECH is an intense, focused two-year program designed to prepare students to excel in the high-tech, fast-paced world of a John Deere Service Technician. The curriculum balances classroom theory, hands-on lab work, and paid internships—tremendous opportunities to “earn while you learn” in the real world of the John Deere dealership that sponsors you.

You’ll cover in-depth John Deere diesel engines, powertrains, hydraulics, and machine set-up systems. You’ll become proficient with high-tech electronics, computer diagnostics, and proprietary John Deere systems. But you’ll also benefit from learning the communication and customer relations skills essential for your success. When you graduate with an associate’s degree, you’ll have the confidence and credentials to be as capable with customers and computers as you are with a torque wrench.
